About Me

Hi, I'm Jeffery Nguyen.

I'm an undergraduate Public Health student at Baylor University with a focused interest in healthcare administration, workplace safety, and the systems that keep clinical and community-health environments running effectively. My coursework has spanned consumer health, sociology of health and inequity, healthcare policy, and professional writing - giving me a perspective that connects population-level public health with the day-to-day operational and safety work behind it.

I'm particularly drawn to the Environmental Health and Safety field because it sits at the intersection of risk prevention, regulatory compliance, and people-first decision-making. Through projects analyzing Medicaid and Medicare, examining structural causes of poverty, drafting professional client deliverables, and leading collaborative team progress reports, I've developed the rhetorical, organizational, and analytical habits needed to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences alike.

Beyond academics, I value leadership, accountability, and clear documentation. Whether I am writing a memo, building a team progress report, or analyzing an internship posting, I focus on producing work that is organized, professional, and useful to the people who read it. My goal is to bring that same standard to a healthcare administration or EHS role, contributing to safer, better-coordinated environments where staff and patients can thrive.
